As we all know Victoria is in a Civid 19 lock down meaning that contact training is restricted until restrictions are lifted. DCJJ is running online drilling classes via zoom, these classes are available to any and everyone and are running twice a week, Every Monday / Wednesday nights from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. All belt rank and age groups are welcome to attend and classes are 100% free to all regardless of affiliation or the academy you train with.
How to Attend a class
simply click on the class displayed below, fill in the form and follow the prompts, you will receive a email saying you are registered for the class and another reminder email 20 min before class starts.
What do i need ?
Zoom classes are instructed in a GI so wearing your uniform is encouraged, you will also need a grappling dummy of some kind, DCJJ has grappling dummies available from the DCJJ Geelong academy or a home made one will be fine.
The DC Jiu Jitsu youtube channel has been created to give students a resource of information, in these programs we cover basic movements, Techniques & principles that will help you to get started on your jiu jitsu journey. We start at the very start, how to tie your belt, Hip escapes and progress to techniques that will be helpful to keep you moving on that mats and advance your learning process.
